Erase Dents Like Magic with Paintless Repair
WHAT IS PDR?
Paintless dent repair (PDR) is a technique used to remove minor dents and dings from a vehicle’s body without the need for paint or body fillers. PDR involves using specialized tools to gently push, pull, or massage the dented metal back into its original shape from behind the panel, or through the utilization of glue pulling from face of the panel. This technique is most effective for small dents, such as those caused by hail, minor collisions, or door dings.
PDR is generally faster and less expensive than traditional auto body repair methods, and it can help preserve the original factory finish of the vehicle. However, not all dents are suitable for PDR, and larger or more severe damage may require traditional repair methods.
WHY CHOOSE DENT KING?
Our PDR Technician, Kevin Weiss, is a dual ticketed bodyman and painter with over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry. Beyond both of his interprovincial tickets, he is also PDR Canada, Automotive Appearance, and Smash School trained. Kevin also has extensive experience in hail damage repair.
Dent King has invested in the latest PDR tooling and technology for both steel and aluminum. From the latest in PDR lighting, to advanced glue pulling technology. We also utilize top industry estimating software.
We are the only shop in town that can use a system called “push to paint”, where we can reduce repair costs by utilizing PDR prior to refinishing, should the panel require paint.
